Idaho's most distinctive motor vehicle license plate is here! The license plate funds improvements to trails, campsites and other recreational facilities and services in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area (SNRA).

Sponsoring the special license plate to benefit the SNRA is one of the many projects that the Sawtooth Society has undertaken – all of which help us preserve, protect, and improve this spellbinding area.

The Sawtooth Society initiated and sponsored this distinctive license plate, which is available at all county assessor offices.

The Society believes that the license plate represents a unique way for motor vehicles owners to voluntarily support the development, improvement, and maintenance of recreational facilities in the SNRA.


BUY YOURS TODAY! Numbered goat license plates are available at your local county assessor's office for $35, plus regular fees.

Personalized license plates may be purchased for $60, plus regular fees, by completing an application form that's available from the Idaho Department of Transportation.

Purchasers of numbered and personalized license plates will receive credit for unused months on their old license plates.
