Arlen Crouch to Receive the Champion of the Sawtooths Award at the 2024 Sagebrush Soirée

STANLEY, Idaho — We are thrilled to announce that Arlen Crouch, the esteemed Owner of Redfish Lake Lodge and a dedicated Director of the Sawtooth Society, has been selected to receive the prestigious Champion of the Sawtooth’s award. This honor will be bestowed upon him at the upcoming Sagebrush Soirée, a fundraising event to preserve, protect, and enhance the SNRA, held on July 18, 2024, at Pioneer Park in Stanley, Idaho.

Arlen Crouch, a native of Jerome, Idaho, along with his wife Derrel, has been at the helm of the Redfish Lake Lodge since 1999, guiding it with a deep respect for the natural beauty and historical significance of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area (SNRA). His passion for the SNRA began in his youth during visits to the Sawtooths and Redfish Lake, and this love has only grown stronger over time.

Under the stewardship of the Crouch family, Redfish Lake Lodge has not only flourished as a resort but has also played a pivotal role in conserving the natural wonders and historical essence of the area. This commitment to preservation and environmental stewardship is a testament to their dedication to the SNRA.

In addition to Arlen Crouch’s remarkable contributions, we are also proud to announce that Redfish Lake Lodge will be the Presenting Sponsor of the 2024 Sagebrush Soirée, generously contributing towards the event. This sponsorship is a clear demonstration of their unwavering support for the Sawtooth Society and its mission to preserve, protect, and enhance the SNRA.

Jeff and Audra Clegg, Arlen’s son-in-law and daughter, who manage the day-to-day operations of Redfish Lake Lodge, continue this legacy of care and commitment to the SNRA. Jeff Clegg’s role as a Director of the Sawtooth Society further strengthens the bond between the family and the organization.

We invite everyone to join us in congratulating Arlen Crouch on this significant achievement and to come together to celebrate his years of dedicated service to the SNRA. The Sagebrush Soirée promises to be not only a celebration of Arlen’s contributions but also a collective opportunity for us to reaffirm our commitment to preserving, protecting, and enhancing this cherished national treasure, the SNRA.

Thank you for being a part of this meaningful celebration. Together, we can ensure the SNRA remains a beacon of natural beauty and historical significance for future generations.
