Hey there!

Sawyer here. I just wanted to share with you some important information about the organizations in place to help protect the SNRA, my herd, and the other creatures, flora, and fauna that make up our unique area.

Did you know Public law 92-400 established the SNRA 50 years ago? Also, county commissions play an important role in land preservation through zoning and enforcement. The U.S. Forest Service has private land regulations in place for all private land on the SNRA, which set expectations for our community to follow.

Unfortunately, no legislation, commission, or regulation alone can preserve, and protect the land we love. That’s why we need you. You and your family and friends are an important part of the solution. Without you, none of these tools and standards currently in place can function as they need to.

Your donation is a critical piece to making action happen. With every gift more miles of trails are cleared. Engaging volunteers to help with the removal of noxious weeds and planting trees? Yes, because of your generous donations.

Please consider giving to the Sawtooth Society this season by visiting www.sawtoothsociety.org or by scanning the QR code.

Thank you for helping me, my herd, and everything we all love about the Sawtooth National Recreation Area.

Wishing you and yours a wonderful holiday season!

Your friend,

Sawyer
